Claroline translated into Guarani
Project
Thursday, 29 March 2007

ImageLa Biblioteca de la Indias Electrónicas launched a campaign last year to collect funds for translating Claroline in three Amerindian languages : Guarani, Quechua and Aymara.

The success of this campaign led to the complete translation of the platform into Guarani, the 35th language of Claroline. Guarani is one of the official languages of Paraguay and is also spoken by communities in neighbouring countries (around 6 million speakers in total).

The translations in Quechua and Aymara are in process. Thank you to Manuel Fernández from the Guaraní Renda association for his effective work, and to La Biblioteca de la Indias Electrónicas for this initiative which deserves all our attention!
