Claroline 1.9 development reaches the last steps before stable with this first release candidate. A lot of bugs notified by the community have been fixed. The platform API are also freezed so if you plan to develop or update a module (tool, applet, admin tool) for Claroline 1.9 you can start safely from now. Please even if we made a big job on bugs fixes you should still not considered this version as stable and therefore you must not use it in production. You are invited to test it and report your opinion and feedbacks in the Claroline forum.
