The Linux Solutions Event is the European reference for professionals dedicated to Solutions GNU/Linux, Open Source & Free Software for businesses, public services and administrations.
The trade show will take place from January 29th to January 31st at the CNIT Paris-La-Défense (France).

 2007 was a good year for Claroline.
The spring saw the creation of the Claroline Consortium that gradually welcomed new members. And a few days before Christmas, Claroline found a prestigious present under the Christmas tree : the Unesco Prize for the use of ICT in education.
A nice way to start 2008, which will be full of challenges and new developments. You should know that these achievements also happened thanks to you. Thanks a lot for your collaboration and your trust.

 The Claroline Users Day that took place in Paris on December, 5 was a great success. Users, developers and people involved in the education and ICT sectors shared their uses and vision of the Claroline platform in a convivial atmosphere.

 The Claroline Consortium launches a fundraising campaign to finance the platform development and set up a permanent team at the service of the users' community.
The Claroline project has been growing steadily since 2001 and it has now reached a size that requires the setting up of a coordination team.
By participating to this campaign, you will give us the means to carry on our mission: improving teaching quality and encouraging the access to knowledge for everyone.
