 The Claroline users and developers will meet this week (May 23-25) at the Vigo University, Spain, for the second edition of the Annual Conference of Claroline Users!
For those who cannot join the ACCU, a report of the conferences and workshops will be put online soon after the conference.

 Add a podcast tool in the tool list of your course!
A podcast is a system for distributing audio/video material over the Internet and listening to it on a portable device or a computer.
Teachers are now able to record a lesson, to publish interviews and debates, or to improve foreign language lessons. Students can consume the published content anywhere at anytime.

 The 24th Congress of the International Association for University Pedagogy (AIPU) will be held in Montréal, Québec on May 16-18, 2007.
A team from the UCL and the ECAM, Belgium (M. Lebrun, P. Mercenier, P. Dekimpe, F. Docq, D.Smidts) will give a conference on the Claroline platform. They will describe and analyse the development and the consequences of an eLearning platform in the university teaching.

You can now add new tools in each course.
Use the module tool in the platform administration to install new modules on your platform.
- Blog : add a blog in the tool list
- Chat : replace the original chat tool by this new user-friendly chat based on AJAX
In addition to this tool modules, we release two new applets :
- HTML / JS : add third party code (html or javascript)
- Spread Open Office : encourage your users to download and use Open Office
Install them and use the forum for your questions and suggestions.

 The Claroline Team is pleased to announce the fourth update of the stable version of Claroline 1.8.

explaining how to create an exercise, how to create a user account,...
